The Challenge

VitalCare Multi-Specialty Clinics had expanded from its founding location in Kothrud to 6 branches across Pune -- Kothrud, Hinjewadi, Wakad, Baner, Hadapsar, and Viman Nagar -- in just 4 years. Each branch offered general practice plus 2-3 specialties (cardiology, dermatology, orthopaedics, gynaecology, ENT, and paediatrics). With 22 doctors rotating across locations, the operational complexity had outpaced the clinic's technology.

The core problem was fragmented patient data. Each branch ran its own clinic software (three different vendors across 6 locations), making it impossible to access a patient's records when they visited a different branch. Doctors spent 5-10 minutes at the start of each cross-branch consultation recreating patient history from scratch.
