What is the purpose of Tagrisso 80 mg?

How should TAGRISSO be ingested?
TAGRISSO should be taken exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
If you experience side effects while taking TAGRISSO, your doctor may adjust your dose, temporarily halt, or permanently discontinue your treatment. Take TAGRISSO once a day. TAGRISSO may be taken either with or without food. Do not take a double dose of TAGRISSO if you miss one. At the scheduled time, take your next dose. If you are unable to take TAGRISSO tablets whole, dissolve your prescribed amount in 60 mL (2 ounces) of water. Use only non-carbonated liquids, such as water.
Stir the water and TAGRISSO tablet until the tablet is broken up into small pieces (the tablet will not dissolve fully).
